after 2 hours plus of sleep! time to wake up! da jie came to the bed. we cuddled together and she said bye bye yingxiu. i was like quite sad lah. woke up and went to yizuan's jie jie house to do our hair! then rushed back home to change. by that time, da jie was almost ready!
my da jie is really pretty right?=) so we dint have much time. took some pics then prepared our walkie talkies and time for the sabo sessions=)
stage 1! charades!
3 brothers and 1 groom. so 3 had to do actions and 1 guess. it was kindda funny! and they kept getting wrong. so we demanded more angbaos=) some ques are cocktail dress, finding nemo, eclampsia(medical term: a pregnant woman with high blood pressure till get fits). hahha! all of them were doctors. imagine how they did it! haha! ^_-!
stage 2! shout it out!
so after they pass the 1st level. we opened the main gate to let them into the carpark. from the 1st level qianjun had to shout 5 things my sis cant stand about him up to my sis's room at the 3rd floor. it was very sweet! he shouted.
1) he knows she wants him to cook. he'll cook for her
2) he knows he dun like to bath. he'll bath more for her
3) he knows he dun like to do housework. he'll do more for her.
4) he knows he likes his car very much. he'll love her more than her car.
5) i forgot the last-__-
then after that 5 reasons why my sis should marry him. then his brothers helped to say lah. what he very handsome and he'll be a rich and powerful doc one day. coz no one loves her more than he does...=) the neighbours were looking!
stage 3! poem!
qj had to recite a poem and the rest to accompany him with musical instruments. haha! so qj wrote "roses are red,violets are blue, time is awaiting, i'm waiting for you!" then got music in between every stanza. so they pass and we let them into the house after that.
stage 4! know the relatives!
they were given cards then each card got something like that: shuyun's father's 2nd sister's 1st son's 1st maternal aunty's mother-in-law.
so they had to figure out who izzit. get the next clue form that person and move on. so it's my grandmother, ah boy and mummy's the last person. mummy asked them to sing karaoke. they dint manage to figure out all. but qj very lousy. he dint know. was his bro use iq to solve one. hahaha!
stage 5: karaoke!
qj sang ah yun ah yun (ah mei ah mei!). the song picked by my father the day before. his singing made the elderlies esp happy! hahah! then after that he got the key and went to get my sis=)
YEA so when they came down everyone got ready party poppers. 1 2 3 POP! =) really pretty!
the walkie talkie was very useful. helped us to coordinate. then when qian jun arrived. he used it to ask for help from my sis then when he was on his way up. he said over the walkie talkie i'm coming to get u! so like my sis knew what's going on though she's in the room lah! cool right! technology saavy! haha!
after that we followed them to qj's house! they had some dessert, had tea ceremony and qj removed my sis's head veil and er jie and i helped da jie change out into the next attire. then suppose to wear all the golds given by the relatives.
after that we proceeded to their new house. qj suppose to carry my sis into the house into room. ahhaa! i think my sis is very heavy. she said it's coz of her gown. (herm! yea right!) but the gown is really quite heavy. we took alot of pics there. it's like quiet time for the brothers and sisters after all the action pack. haha!
got one pic we asked them kiss then my sis was very shy. she said she's not used to taking pornographic pics-__- hahaha!
yup! then after that we went home. got all our stuff for the night. our stayover stuff and the dinner stuff. and we went there! wow! my sis room was like huge lah! our room is just 2 rooms apart. room 132 and 136! hhaha! so we went to crash their room and very excited! the room service food was soso! but the choc strawberry was so delicious! hahaha! i ate 3 of it!
then guess what! a peacock came to outside my sis room and we got all so excited took many pics of it! in the other room. yizuan jie jie was helping everyone make up and do their hair. we were all taking our own sweet time. no one realize solemnization was so soon and in the end we all had to rush!
solemization=) i was quite a lousy and nervous emcee lah! esp when ah meng and i never rehearse. coz he attended another wedding before that and was late. so in the end we started then er jie walked in 1st. da jie and daddy allowed at the back. they walked up the red carpet then everyone stood up and clapped. qj and my da jie exchanged vows and rings=) er jie and i were tearing at the side. happy yet sad. then was cake cutting champagne pouring. the hotel waiter who popped the 1st champage was so scared and turned pale lah! hahaha! and the 2nd one qj popped and the cork flew very nicely. hahhaa! er jie dint see the cork fly coz qj was like aiming at her and she was dodging. haha! there was also taking of pics with friends and family.
then was the dinner! ah meng and i were more prepared now. hahhaa coz we practised for a while. starting was the playing of the video from baby to when they meet. then the arrival of my sis and qj! =) er jie gor gor and i were taking stupid pics in between! hahaha! act cute poses and i cant do cock eyes properly!
then after some course, was the speeches.
yap siang was the best man. he gave the 1st speech=) he's was quite touching. he said like if he is the best man then why my da jie never marry him so acty qj is the best man. he knew qj for fifteen yrs. he said he's not going to talk about how gays like qj before then how they found this girl and neoprint shop cute but when they thought of what to say to her. the shop was closed and the girl left alrdy. haha! then he said 1st time see my sister so pretty and that qj is a really good man so my sis is lucky. qj was like a friend he felt was never ever less than a phonecall away. he's a decent man. never smoke never gamble never scold vulgarities. and he cares alot for his family. it's hard to get him out on weekends coz he'll spend it with his family. and he rmb he'll reject outings just to fetch his sis=) so he's confident qj will be a good husband and father=)
then was qj speech! his was even more touching. he thank his grandma 1st for bringing him up. coz last time his parents were busy so his grandma took care of him since he was a baby. then like he said to his parents and the grandma that he had brought a new daughter to them and that they'll be filial to them together. and to my parents he said that my da jie will be in safe hands and he'll love her like we did or more. we dun have to worry and also to my sis that he'll love her always=) from the stage, i could see my er jie tearing together with me.
finally was my sis speech. i was really nervous for her. it's like the night before she almost wanted to give up coz her friend told her she's still not good. but she needed alot of encouragement. so er jie was let into the secret too! er jie very idiotic lah! she kept being very unhappy she's let in last to the surprise. then she said the only reason why she wasnt told coz da jie wanna surprise her more than the two of us! hahaa! whatever!=)
anyway, so da jie went on stage and said that she's not very good with words so this is to all who loves her. and so she played. and i was made to say she only practised for 2 days when she acty practised for 2 months. at 1st i felt like i should say the truth coz it's only right ppl know my sis effort what. but gor said da jie needed that disclaimer as her confidence booster and yup, so i said. though it wasnt perfect, after she played finish there was a silence. she said thankyou and suddenly all the audience clapped and cheered so loudly=D and qj came on stage and said she dint know my sis ever plays an instument and was really a surprise for him=)
after that was 3 toast yam seng. then they went round to take photos and have toast with the ppl at tables.
the band was quite good=) atmosphere was good. then last song they sang "yue liang dai biao wo de xin" and qj and da jie danced. very sweet. the dance floor dint happen though! so sad lah! coz everyone left and not enthu so we dance by ourselves. hahaha! but it's okie lah. just feel cheated coz we very enthu okie? my da jie and i changed specially for the dance floor! that's a pic of me as emcee! not bad lah! 1st time leh! haha!
anyway, very funny coz whole day everyone kept mistaking me and er jie for da jie and like came to congratulate us -__- then ppl always wanna take pic with 3 of us coz we look alike and look like specimen. and alot of ppl kept asking when gundy and er jie getting married. hahaha!
then after everything we were suppose to film a video on what to say to da jie. i had the idea. so all of us started out crying saying no more da jie. then gor went "eh! no more da jie leh." then we went "ya hor, no more da jie!" and started cheering! hahaha! -_- then we had the 3 of us kiss da jie pose=)
then we all went back room to slack. after collecting all the julia stuff, mummy daddy and gor went home. we were all very tired by then.
gundy er jie and i stayed at hotel. we were so high by the pillow! it's so comfy! gundy was like so drunk! but he's acty not drunk lah. just a bit too much dose coz he still rmb the content of his talk with qj's parents. also, er jie and i couldnt find the remote control and kept cursing the tv. then gundy found it on the table within a min. it's like the remote control was under a black cover-__- haha!
then this morning we woke up late for breakfast. ends at 1030 we only woke up at 1010 haha! so we rushed down for it. grabbed all the food in 15 mins. haha! da jie said no one will ever believe she's the bride. coz she looks so diff with and w/out make up. then she was kept saying "the magic is gone" and "mummy, it's over!" haha! i guess make up makes one look pretty lah and also being the bride is suppose to be the prettiest moment in one's life..
but also coz of make up i have so much pimples popping up and make up is so troublesome! haha! after brunch, da jie and qj went to find the cork from the champagne yest. hahah! then er jie gundy and i walked around the hotel. da jie and qj came over aft that and we played the dance floor music. and jumped by ourselves on bed and taupok each other like we always do when we were young. stacking on top of each other pretending to be fillings of a mega burger! haha=) then da jie and qian jun went to " qing an" again to qj's parent. da jie dunno what to call them. coz she's so used to calling them aunty and uncle.
hahaha! the room tv got er jie's name on it. i find it very coool! then i was so sleepy i slept for another 1 hour and we had to book out of room. i came home and continued to sleep till 830. haha! need to make up for my sleep deficit for the last 2 nights. .

yup! da jie and qj still at sentosa! they damn shiok lah! 3 days 2 nights free. got room service big rooms and spa voucher. hahha! and er jie's islander card=) they counted ang baos and said they realize the more meaningful angbaos are those that wrote their names and sent their wishes together with the angbaos=)
i guess siblings are really like a big blessing from god! honestly, i'll miss my da jie so much. times when we just take each other's clothes to wear, go to each other room and mess up the bed, try to kiss each other, fighting, doing and saying crazy things tgt, shopping, sharings abt god and our lives in sch and hospital=) my da jie is the best da jie i ever have! well coz she's my one and only da jie=)
i'll still feel sad and cry thinking about the empty room. it's a different feeling. seeing the empty room when she's on a night shift and seeing the empty room knowing she's got her own family now. but i guess i'm alrdy very lucky to have her! and anw, she lives so near. i can just look for her or give her a call anytime. and any separation on earth is only temporary. heaven it's where we'll unite for eternity=) i always remind myself that to comfort my sad sad heart. so thank god for that=) haha! but i'm also really happy for her ! coz husband and wives are like flesh of each other. and wedding is such a holistic promise. qj and her are going to face many challenges in life arranged by god, but they are going to face it tgt and grow tgt! and really thank god coz u arranged for them to meet and grow old tgt=)
i cant wait for my 1st nephew/niece! they are going to be the flower girls for my er jie's wedding. er jie's children will be flower boys and girls for gor's wedding, and gor's children will be flower girls and boys for my wedding! haha! we have it all planned out! hahaha! i bought my sis a really sexy slip in pyjamas just for that! hahaha=D
